HOLIDAY Return Policy

Holiday Return Policy for Select Sales from November 1st, 2018 through December 24th, 2018


Para poder recibir todas las devoluciones de artículos festivos, ciertos artículos comprados entre el 11/1 y el 12/24 tendrán períodos extendidos de devolución:

  • Most items purchased between 11/1 -12/24 will have an extended return period through 1/31/19.   Members have 45 days for most non-delivered/installed items or 1/31/19, whichever is better. 


Extended holiday policy is applicable to all sales, not just those with gift receipts. Review Store Return Policy for full details.


Note: Floor care equipment, vacuums, major home appliances, sewing machines, water treatment, plumbing, heating equipment, and items with return policy period less than 30 days are not covered by the extended Holiday Return Policy.  Christmas season items (trees, decorations, etc.) cannot be returned after December 25. Christmas items purchased after December 25 are final sale and cannot be returned. Most products can be returned in new condition, with the original packaging (including accessories, manuals and parts) along with your receipt. Please see our terms and conditions below.

After the return period, or if the item has been used, the manufacturer's warranty may apply. See your owner's manual for specific product details & proper handling.

  • Mattresses must be in use for 30 nights before being eligible for a comfort return.
  • After the 30 nights, you can request a one-time comfort return.
  • Where permitted by law, a pick up fee will be charged for our delivery team to pick up the mattress or foundation from its location and a 15% cancellation or 15% return fee* will apply.
  • You have 3 days to notify us of any damages (see RETURN POLICY EXCEPTIONS and OTHER TERMS).

Returns must be undamaged, unsoiled and free of stains or infestations. Deberán tener todas las etiquetas legales.

Sears Return Policy Exceptions and Other Terms


Delivered furniture and Indoor Upholstered furniture – 7 Days to Return:

  • Delivered wood furniture and indoor upholstered furniture, including recliners and sofas must be returned within 7 days of purchase.

Postpaid cell phones – 14 Days to Return:

  • Postpaid cell phones must be returned within 14 days of purchase & may be subject to early termination fees depending on the carrier contract. Pasados los 14 días, se debe tratar con el proveedor directamente en caso de tener algún problema.

Non-Returnable Items:

  • Automotive products that are installed are covered under specific product warranties provided in connection with auto services & are listed on the invoice.
  • No returns on Valentine, Easter, Halloween and Christmas product after the holiday. Holiday season items purchased after the holiday are final sales and no returns will be accepted.

Additional Fees (not applicable where prohibited by law, item is defective, or incorrect product was delivered):

  • A 15% cancellation fee will be charged on any Special Order Item cancelled more than one day after purchase, but prior to delivery.
  • A 15% restocking fee is charged for mattresses, foundations, assembled/upholstered indoor furniture, water heaters and built-in home appliances, and any opened consumer electronics, patio furniture, gazebos, canopies, pergolas, air conditioners, dehumidifiers, space heaters and grills.
  • A pick up fee will be charged for our delivery team to pick up the item from its location

 

HOME DELIVERY & INSTALLED ITEMS RETURN POLICY EXCEPTIONS:

  • Damage reporting requirements:
  • Revisa cuidadosamente las compras al momento de la entrega.  If any visible or functional damage is noticed, delivery should be refused.  By accepting delivery, you are acknowledging that the items have arrived in working order.
  • You must report any damage (visual or functional), within 3 days of delivery to be eligible for a return.  If these items are not reported within this time frame, the return will not be accepted.
  • If a product arrives damaged or does not work properly when you receive it, we will repair it, replace it or offer a refund. Repair, replacements or refunds are at the discretion of Sears.

MATTRESS, FOUNDATION, BED FRAMES & HEADBOARD/FOOTBOARDS RETURN POLICY

Mattress and Foundations:

Sears asume el compromiso de entregar al cliente el colchón correcto. Our return policy for mattresses & foundations gives you the chance to adjust to your new bed. You must use the mattress set for 30 nights before requesting a return. If after the 30 night adjustment period you are not satisfied, you have between the 31st day & the 180th day after the delivery date to request a one-time comfort return for a different mattress & foundation of equal or greater value. Where permitted by law, a pick up fee will be charged for our delivery team to pick up the mattress or foundation from its location & a 15% return fee* will apply.

Bedframes and Head/Footboards:

May be returned within 30 days of the delivery date with an original receipt if the product is undamaged & you return all original accessories.
